The Gear Centre Group is looking for a Part-Time Autobody & Automotive Repair Technician to join our team in Edmonton. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys a variety of work, including autobody repairs and general automotive repairs and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform autobody repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and body alignment.
- Prepare vehicles for painting, including sanding, filling, and masking.
- Perform general automotive repairs and maintenance as required.
- Diagnose and repair minor mechanical issues.
- Replace and repair vehicle components, including lights, mirrors, bumpers, and trim.
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Autobody Technician, Automotive Service Technician, or in a similar role.
- Automboddy certification is an asset but not required.
- Experience with both autobody and general automotive repairs is preferred.
- Ability to diagnose and repair a variety of vehicle issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with a clean driver's abstract is an asset.
