Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and professional Registered Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic massage services to enhance clients' physical health and overall well-being. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients to tailor treatments to their needs. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions based on client needs, utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, or sports massage
- Conduct client assessments to develop personalized treatment plans
- Maintain detailed and accurate client records, including treatment notes and progress reports
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients at all times
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation of equipment and workspaces
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals when necessary to support comprehensive client care
- Promote services and wellness programs to clients to enhance their experience and satisfaction
Experience
- Valid registration as a Massage Therapist with the appropriate licensing board
- Prior experience providing therapeutic massage in a clinical or spa setting is preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to massage therapy is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with diverse clients
- Excellent communication skills for explaining treatment procedures and wellness advice clearly
- Ability to build rapport with clients, ensuring a comfortable and trusting environment for treatment sessions
Pay: $40,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
