We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Airbnb Turnover Cleaner to support short-term rental properties on a casual contract basis.
This role is ideal for someone who understands that Airbnb cleaning is guest-focused and requires both cleaning excellence and strong communication.
Responsibilities:
- Complete turnover cleans between guest check-out and check-in
- Clean and sanitize kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and common areas
- Change linens and reset the space to guest-ready standards
- Restock supplies as instructed
- Conduct a full inspection of the property before and after each clean
- Take and submit before and after photos/videos for quality control and documentation
- Report damages, missing items, maintenance concerns, or inventory shortages immediately
- Follow cleaning checklists and turnover instructions
Requirements:
- Previous Airbnb, short-term rental, hotel, or housekeeping experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and consistency
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Comfortable using a smartphone to document and submit photos/videos
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Flexible availability including weekdays, weekends, and occasional short-notice bookings
Compensation Notes:
- Standard turnover projects are paid at $60 flat rate (approximately 3 hours)
- Projects expected to require 4+ hours will be communicated in advance and compensated accordingly
- If inspection photos/videos show that a property requires additional cleaning beyond standard turnover scope, additional compensation may be approved prior to proceeding
