Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely delivery
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while adhering to proper food handling and sanitation standards
- Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering and processing payments
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, workstations, and service areas in compliance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and presentation for guest satisfaction
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks when needed to support overall restaurant operations
- Demonstrate excellent guest services skills by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive dining experience
- Practice effective time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods
Requirements
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
- Knowledge of POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform basic math calculations quickly
- Understanding of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in food industry roles including serving, cashiering, or kitchen support is highly desirable
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
