Our client KAT Florence is looking for a Sr. Accounting Manager (Hybrid, 3 days in office) to join their team in Elora, ON on a full-time, permanent basis.
About Our Client:
Kat Florence is actively investing in multiple businesses across diverse industries, including hotels, supermarkets, and restaurants. They are seeking an experienced Sr. Accounting Manager to join the team. This role will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of six companies within the portfolio, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in all financial activities. Expertise in POS systems and retail/hospitality experience is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and manage financial statements for individual companies, ensuring timely and accurate reporting. (Note: Consolidated Financial Statements will be prepared by RLB)
- Cash Flow, Budgeting & Forecasting: Monitor cash flow, develop budgets, and provide detailed financial forecasting to support business decisions.
- Full Cycle Accounting: Manage all aspects of accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and expense management across the various entities.
- Payroll Management: Oversee payroll processes, ensuring timely and accurate payroll distribution for all entities.
- HST Filing: Manage and ensure compliance with HST filing requirements across multiple entities.
- Tax Filing: Prepare and file tax returns for each company, except the parent company (Kat Florence Canada Co., Ltd).
- Inventory and Cost Controls: Implement and monitor inventory management systems and cost control measures to optimize efficiency.
- POS & Retail/Hospitality Expertise: Leverage experience with POS systems and processes in the retail and hospitality sectors to improve operational and financial reporting.

Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a similar role, with expertise in POS systems and retail/hospitality industries.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, full-cycle accounting (AR, AP, and expenses), budgeting, cash flow management, and payroll processes.
- Experience with tax filing, inventory management, and cost control.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- CPA or equivalent designation is considered an asset.
