'Technician and Shipper Receiver' is a vital role at HME Medical Distribution Ltd., based in British Columbia. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and reach trucks safely to load and unload medical supplies.
- Manage warehouse distribution processes to ensure timely order fulfillment.
- Use warehouse management systems to track inventory and shipments.
- Prepare packages accurately for shipping, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Receive incoming stock, verify quantities, and organize storage.
- Assist with order picking and packing for delivery.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
- Qualifications
- Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklifts. (preferred)
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting and order processing.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
