Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Roll Off Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating roll-off trucks to transport waste containers and debris to designated disposal sites. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficient driving skills, and physical endurance for heavy lifting tasks. Responsibilities
- Safely operate roll-off trucks to pick up and deliver waste containers to various locations.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of containers, adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck to identify any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and mileage logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding schedules and service updates.
- Perform heavy lifting when handling containers or debris, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
- Follow all traffic laws and company policies while driving and operating equipment.
Experience
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Prior experience operating heavy trucks, particularly roll-off or dump trucks, is required.
- Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently.
- Experience navigating urban or rural routes with knowledge of local roads is a plus.
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and customer service excellence. This position requires physical stamina, safe driving practices, and attention to detail to ensure smooth operations and compliance with safety standards.
Pay: $28.00 per hour
