Job Summary
The Laser Technician / Receptionist plays a dual role in delivering exceptional client care and supporting the day-to-day operations of the clinic. This position is responsible for performing non-invasive treatments including laser hair removal, radio frequency microneedling, HIFU skin tightening, electromagnetic muscle stimulation, and shockwave therapy in accordance with clinic protocols and training standards. The role also includes front desk responsibilities such as greeting clients, scheduling appointments, managing communications, processing payments, and maintaining accurate client records. The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, service-driven, and passionate about helping clients achieve their health, wellness, and aesthetic goals while contributing to a positive clinic experience.
Key Responsibilities
As this is a new company, the roles and responsibilities will be adjusted to the needs of the company, staff, and patients.
Patient Consultation & Assessment
· Conduct comprehensive consultations, assessing client needs, goals, and medical history to design personalized treatment plans.
· Educate clients on treatment options, expected results, and appropriate post-treatment care.
· Recommend home maintenance protocols.
Performance and Wellness Treatments:
· Laser Technology: Laser Hair Removal, Radio Frequency Microneedling, HIFU
· Devices: Electric Muscle Stimulation (EMS) and Shockwave Therapy
· Treatment charting and record keeping.
Patient Education & Follow-Up
· Provide detailed post-treatment instructions and guide clients on best practices for recovery and maintenance.
· Schedule and conduct follow-up appointments to assess outcomes and address any questions or concerns.
· Offer recommendations/requisitions for additional treatments or products to support long-term results and wellness.
Appointment Scheduling & Call Management
· Welcome Answer incoming calls, emails, and messages promptly and professionally.
· Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments using our booking system.
Retail Sales & Marketing Promotions
· Inform guests of relevant promotions, special packages, and retail products.
· Assist guests with product selection and complete retail sales transactions.
· Keep track of inventory and restock as needed.
Cash Handling & Administrative Tasks
· Process payments accurately and maintain cash handling procedures.
· Record transactions, prepare daily summaries, and assist with financial reconciliations.
Clinic Maintenance
· Work Ensure reception and guest areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
· Perform light cleaning duties such as dusting, laundry, and general tidying of clinic spaces.
· Help maintain the clinic’s professional appearance to create a positive first impression for every guest.
Qualifications
· Laser Technician Diploma or Vendor Training Completion Certificate.
· Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience.
· Skills: Strong clinical assessment skills, and a commitment to patient safety and satisfaction.
