Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble mechanical components (subassemblies) and bicycles according to engineering drawings and documentation
  • Read and understand assembly instructions, schematics and other technical documentation
  • Review finished assemblies to ensure accuracy against drawings
  • Set work priorities to meet production schedule
  • Manage and track inventory and supplies
  • Work in a fast paced environment with fast changing priorities
  • Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
  • Keep all work areas clean and organized
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required
  • Work in compliance with all ISO and OHSA and company standards, following all safety protocols
  • Conduct safety checks on equipment and daily maintenance in compliance with safety standards

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in an assembly environment
  • Ability to assemble and install components with a high standard for quality and efficiency
  • Proficiency with hand tools and power tools used during the assembly process
  • Manual machining and TIG welding experience an asset
  • Ability to read technical drawings and follow procedures methodically
  • Ability to use various inspecting tools and techniques; calipers, angle gauges etc
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Highly organized with a strong ability to multitask, dealing with multiple and changing priorities
  • Ability to work with tight deadlines
  • Demonstrated organization and time management skills
  • Enjoy working with a small team in a high energy environment
  • Self-starter with the ability to work well both independently and within a team
  • Valid driver's license required
