We’re seeking a Business Analyst for the Cash PB Platform in the Prime Services group. This is a opportunity to interact directly with Product Development, Client Solutions and Middle Office in Toronto and NYC.
Do you enjoy analyzing and documenting business and functional requirements as per business needs? Are you interested in collaborating closely within the BA/Dev team and QA team as part of system testing? In this role, you’ll work closely with business stakeholders in the Prime Service business in understanding business requirements and work closely with the vendor for deliverables. Key to success in this role is the ability to test and analyze data as part of data testing using various tools such as Microsoft Excel, SQL tools etc. You’ll partner with production support & software vendor teams as you provide day-to-day support of Cash PB Transactions processing system, which involves analyzing and understanding deliverables per business needs and executing on allocated tasks based on priority. That means working with business stake holders and product development group in defining business requirements, interfacing with vendor to design and provide solutions to the business.
For this role, the minimum qualifications you bring with you are:
2+ years Business Analyst experience in banking technology
Understanding of Software design and software development lifecycle
Experience in testing and analyzing data as part of data analysis
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Strong sense of ownership for system stability and capacity. P
Ability to communicate with key business and technology stakeholders on a daily basis
BA / Dev with 7+ years of experience in financial industry (capital markets)
Experience with cash Prime Brokerage process flows and systems
Experience with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Visio
Experience gathering and documenting business requirements, functional requirements, gap analysis
Knowledge of using SQL on databases such as Oracle, Sybase etc.
Past experience with system ownership (as development lead, etc.) a plus.Experience with JIRA
Bachelor of Science degree
