Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical assembly and electrical wiring of industrial control panels. This position requires the ability to accurately interpret electrical schematics and produce clean, professional, and reliable panel wiring.
Responsibilities
- Build and wire industrial control panels according to electrical schematics.
- Install and wire VFDs, motor starters, contactors, relays, transformers, terminal blocks, power supplies, and control devices.
- Perform control and power wiring, including proper wire routing, termination, labeling, and identification.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, panel layouts, wiring diagrams.
- Assemble electrical enclosures and install DIN rail, wire duct, terminal blocks, and electrical components.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, organization, and panel appearance.
- Follow applicable electrical codes, safety procedures, and company quality standards.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Qualifications
- Previous experience building and wiring industrial control panels.
- Strong ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Experience with PLCs, VFDs, motor starters, relays, contactors, and control circuits.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good mechanical aptitude and ability to safely use hand and power tools.
