In this role, you will be responsible for operating skid steer loaders efficiently and safely across various projects. Your expertise will help ensure smooth site operations, support heavy equipment tasks, and contribute to prepping sites for paving. Responsibilities
- Operate skid steer loaders with precision, adhering to safety protocols and project specifications
- Assist with prepping sites for paving
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to execute construction tasks efficiently and safely
- Follow all safety guidelines and report any hazards or equipment issues promptly
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and site activities
Skills
- Proven experience operating skid steer loaders in a construction environment or willing to take someone who has an interest and willing to learn.
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance
- Strong understanding of construction processes and safety standards
- Valid commercial driver’s license and traction engine.
- Knowledge of basic construction materials and techniques for effective support on projects
