Job Summary:
Framerz Inc. is looking for dependable Night Shift Workers with wood framing experience to support our logistics and shop operations. These roles are ideal for individuals experienced in framing and material handling who can work independently to keep the night shift running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on night shift tasks in the warehouse, including material handling, order preparation, and staging.
- Track and document inventory accurately, ensuring materials are accounted for as they move in and out of the shop.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment, taking care of equipment and storage areas.
- Address logistical or operational issues as they arise during the night shift, using problem-solving skills.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure a secure work environment for the night shift team.
- Communicate effectively with the day shift team to support a smooth transition and continuity in shop operations.
Qualifications:
- 1-3 years of experience in wood framing, carpentry, or similar hands-on work in a shop or warehouse setting. Building walls is the primary job.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations, material handling, and inventory tracking.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently at night.
- Forklift certification or experience with warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Managerial skills would be an asset but are not required.
Preferred Skills:
- A proactive approach with a troubleshooting mindset to address minor issues as they arise.
- Clear communication skills for effective coordination with the night shift team and handover to day shift.
- Experience with logistics or supply chain processes is beneficial.
