Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Pipe Welder to join our automotive manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for pipe welding, fabrication, assembly, and related welding activities while maintaining high standards of quality and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pipe welding using MIG, TIG, and/or other appropriate welding processes.
- Read and interpret welding drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Weld and fabricate metal pipes and components according to required measurements and tolerances.
- Prepare, fit, align, and secure pipes and metal components before welding.
- Inspect completed welds for quality, strength, and accuracy.
- Use welding equipment, hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments safely.
- Perform grinding, cutting, cleaning, and finishing of welded components as required.
- Follow automotive manufacturing quality standards and production procedures.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company health and safety policies, including proper use of PPE.
- Report defective materials, equipment issues, or quality concerns to the supervisor.
- Complete other welding and production-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pipe Welder, preferably in a manufacturing or automotive environment.
- Experience with MIG/TIG welding is an asset.
- Ability to read and understand welding drawings and measurements.
- Good knowledge of welding techniques, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a production team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.v
Pay: $22.00 per hour
