Scrap tires collected by Liberty Tire Recycling are processed and refined by size-reduction techniques designed to achieve a range of particle sizes. Our products are an essential ingredient in the construction of athletic fields, paving and landscaping applications, molded rubber goods, and many others.

With the largest network of tire recycling facilities in the nation, Liberty Tire Recycling is a one-stop tire collection and rubber recycling service.

Liberty Tire is currently seeking an Operations Manager for its Alberta sites.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
Establish and implement plant policies and procedures.
Protection of the health and safety of employees by enforcing safety policies and ensuring that the plants are kept clean and safe at all times.
Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communication, coaching, training, and development.
Develop and lead the implementation of a performance-driven culture.
Direct department leads to ensure coordination of the tire collection effort, purchasing, maintenance, production and shipping of our products.

Ideal candidate will:
7+ of manufacturing experience
Mechanical Aptitude
Previous experience using different software including: Microsoft Office Suite, Payroll Data Management and Customer Relationship Management among others
5+ years of supervisory experience
Strong organizational and time management skills
Be familiar with financial statements
Previous experience in developing and implementing safety strategies a well as best practices
Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
This position would be of interest to a self-starter who works best in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will possess a strong personality and enjoy mentoring and developing a staff of supporting players in secondary management and supervisory roles. Demonstrate concern for a high standard of quality and product delivery.
