The Alberta Medical Association is currently recruiting for the temporary position of Coordinator with our Accelerating Change Transformation Team (ACTT). This is a temporary position until March 31, 2020, and will be located out of our Edmonton office.

Position Overview
The Coordinator, ACTT is responsible for project coordination of assigned zone and/or portfolios and providing senior administrative support to the ACTT.

Key responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to the following:

Input and monitor key project indicators (timelines, allocated resource hours, deliverables, etc.) using project management software to ensure project leads can successfully execute and deliver projects.
Identify risks to the project timelines and scope creep to the Project Lead.
Contribute to the flow of communication with the project team(s) and stakeholders by gathering and disseminating information in a timely manner and being the first point of contact for the project.
Organize and manage the work of and the planning and preparation for assigned project and/or committee meetings, including internal and/or external stakeholders; prepare and coordinate the required documentation; record the proceedings and outcomes and manage the work and communications generated.
Ensure that project-related metrics are in place, analyzed and reported regularly to project leads and directors.
Oversees the standards and guidelines of reporting and documentation for project, ensures all information/data is standardized. Follow up with team members to identify any deviations from standards and provide recommendations for changes.
Conducts research and prepares reports, high-level presentations, and other written materials for project leads.
As an ideal candidate you possess the following qualifications:

Education and experience
Minimum requirement is a two-year post-secondary diploma in business or related field with at least five years of senior administrative experience in a professional office and/or health care environment.
Demonstrated experience in project coordination, including project scheduling, coordinating of activities and reporting on all aspects of a project.
Skills
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with an ability to prioritize the workload and manage working relationships along formal and informal lines across all levels of the organization.
Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to direct communication at target audience.
Able to meet deadlines.
Strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail and quality service.
Flexible and adaptable, able to work within a changing environment.
Models respect and transparency by being open, acting with integrity, sharing resources/knowledge across project delivery teams.
Able to exercise sound judgment and take initiative, using knowledge of day-to-day operations, key priorities and urgency of issues.
Ability to work in a team environment is essential.
