Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to oversee the financial operations of our organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounting functions, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. This role requires strong expertise in accounting software and financial analysis, with a focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and budgeting. The Accounting Manager will play a key role in supporting strategic financial planning and ensuring the integrity of financial data across various platforms.
Duties
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements and reports using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant tools.
- Conduct account reconciliation and account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Develop and monitor budgets, providing insights and recommendations for financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes efficiently.
- Collaborate with auditors during audits and assist in preparing audit schedules.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and accounting standards to improve processes.
- Supervise accounting staff and coordinate training on new systems or procedures as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in accounting management or a similar role with extensive knowledge of accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll management, budgeting, and account reconciliation.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience leading a team of accounting professionals is desirable. Pay: $90,500.00-$94,200.00 per year
