Duties
- Greet customers warmly, listen carefully to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their needs.
- Explain repair and maintenance options clearly, providing expert advice based on mechanical knowledge and dealership standards.
- Coordinate with technicians and mechanics to prioritize repairs, ensuring timely completion of services.
- Upsell additional services or parts that enhance vehicle performance and safety, increasing customer satisfaction and dealership revenue.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments efficiently, and maintain detailed records of all financial exchanges.
- Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and promote future business opportunities.
- Maintain organized service records, update vehicle histories, and ensure all documentation complies with dealership policies.
Skills
- Proven experience working in a dealership environment or automotive service setting.
- Strong mechanical knowledge gained through mechanic experience or related technical training.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly and professionally.
- Demonstrated sales ability with a focus on upselling services and parts to meet customer needs.
- Familiarity with automotive repair processes, parts inventory management, and dealership operations.
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining confidentiality and integrity.
- Proactive attitude with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
