Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to oversee the daily operations of our cleaning and maintenance teams. The ideal candidate will ensure that all facilities meet high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency. This leadership role requires excellent organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and a solid background in custodial services and facilities maintenance. The Housekeeping Manager will coordinate staff schedules, manage supplies, and uphold quality control to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate housekeeping staff to ensure timely and thorough cleaning of commercial or residential facilities
- Develop and implement cleaning protocols and safety procedures in compliance with industry standards
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness, safety, and quality standards across all areas
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment, including power tools and hand tools
- Train new staff on proper cleaning techniques, equipment use, and safety guidelines
- Schedule staff shifts efficiently to meet operational demands while optimizing labor costs
- Address customer inquiries or complaints promptly to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
- Perform facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs using hand tools or power tools
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, staff attendance, and supply usage
Skills
- Proven experience in custodial services, commercial cleaning, or facilities maintenance
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and the use of hand tools, power tools, and custodial equipment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling supplies or equipment
- Outstanding communication skills for team coordination and customer interaction
- Experience with facilities maintenance procedures and safety protocols
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay: $35,700.00-$65,000.00 per year
