We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Childcare Provider to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children in a private home setting. Responsibilities
- Provide attentive supervision and care for children, ensuring their safety at all times
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to dietary needs and preferences
- Engage children in age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and creativity
- Assist with daily routines such as bathing, dressing, homework, and bedtime rituals
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks related to childcare
- Support children with special needs or disabilities through personalized caregiving strategies
- Foster positive behavior and social skills through encouragement, teaching, and modeling appropriate interactions
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a caregiving or teaching capacity
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable
- Strong cooking skills to prepare healthy meals and snacks for children
- Ability to perform cleaning duties related to childcare responsibilities
- Compassionate caregiving approach with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of child development principles and age-specific activities
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred but not required; willingness to obtain certification is a plus
