Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Bartender/Manager/Supervisor to join our hospitality team. This role combines bartending expertise with leadership responsibilities, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food and beverage service, excellent time management skills, and the ability to oversee daily restaurant functions. Experience with POS systems such as Micros is preferred, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling protocols. Responsibilities
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests in accordance with company standards and recipes.
- Manage the bar area, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health regulations.
- Utilize POS systems such as Micros for accurate order entry, cashiering, and cash handling procedures.
- Ensure food safety standards are upheld during food handling and serving processes.
- Provide training and mentorship to team members on serving techniques, food safety, and customer service excellence.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster a welcoming environment for guests.
- Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies; place orders as needed to maintain stock levels.
- Enforce responsible alcohol service policies and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Assist in marketing efforts by promoting specials or events within the restaurant.
Experience
- Proven experience in restaurant or food service industry roles, including bartending or supervisory positions.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros or similar platforms is highly desirable.
- Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking efficiently.
- Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and inventory management.
- Previous experience leading or supervising staff is preferred but not mandatory for all candidates; leadership qualities are valued highly. Pay: $48,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
