Nasittuq is currently bidding on the contract for the Operation & Maintenance of the North Warning System (NWS). The NWS is a joint Canada and United States early-warning radar system with 47 sites located in Northern Canada; a Control Centre and Support Centre located in North Bay, ON and a Contract Management Office located in Ottawa, ON.

The Chief Security Officer will be responsible for coordinating all corporate activities with respect to security and implications, which includes physical security, personnel security, communications security and the protection and privacy of the corporation.
Administer the requirements of the NWS Security Requirements Checklist (SRCL)
Ensure the physical security of all NWS infrastructure
Coordinate the security screening of all personnel
Work closely with subcontractors on the security screening process
Manage the NWS Communications Security (COMSEC) account
Prepare, implement, and administer the NWS Security Plan
Develop and implement policies, standards and guidelines related to personnel, facilities, and COMSEC, ensuring corporate compliance with all applicable Government security regulations, including: Project Security Plan, COMSEC Standard Operating Procedures, Controlled Goods Program, Canada/US Joint Certification, Firearms Regulations, and Visit Requests
Provides investigational assistance as required to ensure security of the Information Management System
Five (5) years of demonstrated industry experience in the preparation and implementation of security programs.
Adaptability and ability to manage priorities with attention to detail and work cross-culturally.
Computer literate in MS applications, strong written and verbal communication skills.
Candidates must be Canadian citizens, be eligible and maintain Level (II) SECRET security clearance.
