Turn Key Group Ltd. is a busy Automation, structural and heavy steel fabrication shop looking for a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team immediately. If you can read drawings, lay out and fit up your own work, and lay down clean, sound welds, we want to hear from you.
What You'll Do
- Fabricate structural and heavy steel components from shop drawings, blueprints, and cut lists.
- Lay out, cut, fit, and assemble steel members to spec and tolerance.
- Weld using MIG, TIG, and Stick processes on a range of material thicknesses.
- Operate shop equipment safely — grinders, saws, torches, and overhead cranes/hoists.
- Check your own work for quality, fit, and weld integrity before it moves on.
- Keep a clean, safe, and organized work area.
What You Bring
- Proven experience as a fabricator/welder in a structural or heavy steel shop.
- Proficiency across MIG, TIG, and Stick welding.
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and blueprints.
- Solid math, measuring, and layout skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well both independently and on a team.
- Own hand tools and welding gear an asset; welding tickets/certifications a plus.
