Job Title: Home Support Worker / Continuing Care Assistant (CCA) Company: Shannon’s Home Care Services Location: Saskatoon and surrounding area Position: Casual/On-Call – Hiring Immediately Shannon’s Home Care Services is urgently hiring compassionate, dependable and experienced Home Support Workers or Continuing Care Assistants to provide personalized care in clients’ homes. Responsibilities: - Assist with personal care, bathing, dressing and toileting - Provide companionship and emotional support - Prepare simple meals and complete light housekeeping - Assist with mobility, walking and safe transfers - Provide medication reminders - Accompany clients to appointments and run errands - Complete care notes after each visit - Provide respite and support for families Requirements: - CCA, PSW or similar caregiving education/experience preferred - Current CPR and First Aid certification - Dementia-care and TLR training are considered assets - Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector search - Valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle - Able to read, write and communicate clearly in English - Legally entitled to work in Canada - Dependable, compassionate and comfortable working independently - Available for flexible shifts, including some evenings and weekends This is a casual, on-call position, and hours are not guaranteed.
