SkyAlyne is a proud partnership between Canadian aviation and defence leaders, CAE and KF Aerospace, formed to provide a truly Canadian solution for Canada’s Future Aircrew Training (FAcT) Program, Canada’s next-generation military aircrew training program.
SkyAlyne has been selected as contractor for the FAcT Program. The program will be managed from the National Capital Region (Ottawa), with three operational locations: Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan; Southport (Portage la Prairie), Manitoba; and Winnipeg, Manitoba.
The scope of the FAcT Program contract includes all training and in-service support requirements needed to prepare Pilots, Air Combat Systems Officers, and Airborne Electronic Sensor Operators to meet the future aerospace requirements of the Royal Canadian Air Force. In collaboration with the Government of Canada and several major Canadian subcontractors, SkyAlyne will provide live-flying, simulator and classroom-based training, facilities construction and management, information management and information technology support, site support services, aircraft maintenance and much more.

Job Overview

As the Manager, Enterprise IM/IT Service Delivery, you will play a critical role in shaping SkyAlyne’s technological landscape. The Manager, Enterprise IM/IT Service Delivery will report directly to the Head of IM/IT.
Duties and Responsibilities

Lead the development, implementation, and support of SkyAlyne’s enterprise business systems (ERP, ITSM, HR/Payroll, CRM, SharePoint, etc.).

Partner with SkyAlyne functional areas to understand and integrate their business processes within the enterprise systems.

Understand the end-user experience of the system and represent these needs when working with internal and external stakeholders and subcontractors.

Take accountability for service delivery performance and meet end-user expectations.

Manage the delivery backlog for continuous improvement while reviewing the SkyAlyne business needs, redefining priorities, and outlining milestones and deliverables based on changing requirements or circumstances.

Verify technology's value in supporting business strategic objectives, save operational costs by consolidating redundant technologies with overlapping functionality.

Develop and maintain positive working relationships with external IM/IT vendors and service providers.

Oversee the enterprise IM/IT subcontractors, ensuring performance objectives are met.

Develop and implement enterprise IM/IT policies and procedures.

Provide expert advice to business groups regarding new technological developments and enterprise solutions, equipping them with the tools to meet their business technology needs.

Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in information systems technology, computer science, software engineering or related field.

Certification in Project Management (PMP), or Product Owner (Agile), or demonstrable project management experience in the software development and/or information systems technology field.

Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) foundation certification in IT Service Management is an asset.

At least 5 years of experience in IM/IT leadership roles.

At least 10 years of experience in IT delivery roles, including system integrations.

Ability to hold teams and subcontractors accountable for their deliverables.

Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while still meeting deliverables.

Experience in the Defence and Aerospace industries would be an asset.

Be able to hold a Government of Canada Security Clearance (Secret level).

Be able to hold Government of Canada site/information access certifications, including accessing Protected “B” information, Controlled Goods Clearance, and ITAR Clearance.

Eligible to work in Canada.

Strong oral and written English language capabilities.

Fluency in French would be an asset.
