The Budtender is a master of our menu and knows exactly how to help anyone who walks through the dispensary doors. If you have a smile that can light up a room, we want you on our team!
Position Details
- Brand new location in North Pickering
- Part-time role: 15-30 hours per week
- Must be available weekends and evenings
- CannSell Certification (required)
Qualifications & Experience
To succeed in this role, candidates must bring hands-on industry experience and a strong foundation in cannabis knowledge.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service experience (retail, hospitality, café, or similar fast-paced environment preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of experience working in a cannabis retail store
- Strong understanding of cannabis products and consumption methods, including flower, pre-rolls, vapes, edibles, concentrates, and topicals
- Solid knowledge of cannabinoids (THC, CBD, CBN, CBG, etc.), terpene profiles, potency, and how they influence effects and customer experience
- Ability to confidently educate customers and provide tailored recommendations based on tolerance, desired effects, and lifestyle
We’re looking for someone who doesn’t just sell cannabis — but truly understands it and can translate that knowledge into an exceptional, welcoming customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers as they enter and provide friendly, personalized assistance
- Offer detailed product knowledge, including effects, benefits, and consumption methods
- Help customers make informed purchase decisions based on their needs and preferences
- Track inventory and restock shelves as needed
- Maintain a clean, welcoming, and compliant store environment
- Handle transactions accurately with both cash and card payments
Job Type: Part-time
