Nha Toi Boutique Cafe is a Vietnamese Restaurant in South Surrey is seeking a skilled part time Kitchen Helper/ Line Cook to join our tea. As a Kitchen Helper/ Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food items according to recipes and quality standards. Your role is crucial in ensuring that our customers receive delicious and well-presented meals.
```Duties:```
- Prepare and cook food items according to recipes and quality standards
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Assist with food preparation tasks, such as chopping vegetables and preparing sauces
- Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
- Clean and maintain work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient service
- Monitor food inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies
```Skills:```
- Previous experience working in a kitchen or as a cook in the restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Familiar with Vietnamese food is an asset
