Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. The Early Childhood Teacher will work collaboratively with parents and staff to ensure each child’s individual needs are met.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with early childhood education standards.
- Foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, exploration, and creativity among children.
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback to parents and guardians on their development.
- Utilize effective communication skills to engage with children, parents, and colleagues in both English and French (bilingual preferred).
- Maintain organized classroom materials and resources to ensure an efficient learning space.
- Collaborate with special education staff to support children with disabilities or special needs.
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills by guiding classroom activities and managing behavior effectively.
- Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field is preferred.
- Experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting is essential.
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities to balance multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with diverse groups of people.
- Familiarity with computer operation for administrative tasks such as lesson planning and record keeping.
- Ability to create inclusive classroom environments that cater to the needs of all students, including those with disabilities.

Pay: $22.00-$25.86 per hour
