Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves providing exceptional service to customers, managing sales transactions, and supporting the overall operation of our dealership or retail environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, sales experience, and a solid understanding of automotive or retail sales processes. Bilingual abilities and dealership experience are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support diverse client needs.
Duties
- Assist customers in selecting products and services, providing detailed product information and recommendations
- Process sales transactions accurately using POS systems, handling cash and credit payments with precision
- Manage order fulfillment, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of parts or products
- Maintain organized product displays and inventory levels to optimize the customer shopping experience
- Provide customers with quotes for tires & wheels
- Engage in upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize sales opportunities
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction
- Build service invoices for the customers
- Support marketing efforts through promoting special offers and new products to customers
- Maintain knowledge of automotive repair procedures, parts, and accessories to assist customers effectively
- Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information and directing calls as needed
- Schedule customer appointments
- Support maintenance of the sales area, ensuring cleanliness and organization for a professional environment
Requirements
- Must be fluent in English
- Previous dealership or retail sales experience preferred; familiarity with automotive parts is a plus
- Proficient in basic computer applications, including email, web navigation, and office software suites
- Proficiency with POS systems, Microsoft Excel, and basic math skills for order processing, invoice and inventory management
- Strong communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively and provide excellent customer service
- Knowledge of cashiering, cash handling, and phone etiquette required
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work well within a team while maintaining a professional demeanor
- Willing to learn
- Must have experience in fast paced environments
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
