Summary
We are seeking a professional, reliable, and customer-focused Weekend Door Security Guard based in Brantford to join our team. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment for our clients and their patrons, reflecting our commitment to safety and service excellence.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control front door to ensure only authorized individuals enter premises.
- Verify government issued identification for patrons entering the establishment.
- Conduct regular patrols of the designated smoking area to maintain security.
- Observe and report any suspicious activities or security breaches.
- Maintain a highly visible security presence to deter unwanted behaviour.
- Enforce company policies and safety regulations.
- Assist visitors and clients courteously while maintaining security protocols.
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of activities and incidents during shifts.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience or background in law enforcement, security, or related fields.
- Ability to remain vigilant and attentive during long shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and efficiently.
- Strong observation and decision making abilities
- Smart Serve Certification is considered an asset.
- Prior experience in a door security or access control role is advantageous.
