The Cattle Processor/Farm Labour is responsible for the Processing and Rehandling of Cattle as well as other miscellaneous jobs around the feedlot.
- Complete processing protocols for all newly arrived cattle and re-handle existing cattle
- Perform all health-related functions in the care and handling of feedlot cattle
- Handle incoming and processed cattle, including assessing health and administering vaccination and antibiotic injections
- Record and manage health and treatment data in the computer system, tracking each animal's treatment history
- Perform a variety of other cattle-handling tasks and general farm duties around the feedlot
Requirements:
- Experience: minimum 1 year of cattle-handling experience
- Strong organizational and communication skills; flexible, positive approach
- Able to perform physical outdoor work in all weather; flexible schedule including early mornings and weekends as required
- English proficiency
- No minimum education required
