Job Description: Comet Welding is looking to add a CNC Laser Operator for our tube laser machine. We're seeking hardworking professionals who enjoy meeting challenges and surpassing expectations. The ideal candidate will have a background in CNC laser operation, specifically structural tube, and computer/CAD interfaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC laser machine to cut and shape metal tubes according to specifications.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser equipment.
- Ensure quality control and accuracy of finished products.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Work efficiently as a part of a team with communication with other workers regarding timelines and job requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC Laser Operator.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operation.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in CNC machining or related field.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software.
- Knowledge of metal fabrication processes.
