Reporting to the Director, Space Flight Laboratory the incumbent provides a full range of administrative support and assists with the coordination of facility maintenance, supporting a world-class facility in the fast-paced field of small satellite development and technology research.

Your responsibilities will include:
Responding to enquiries within the defined scope of the role and redirecting as appropriate
Distributing incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
Coordinating routine maintenance of equipment
Maintaining equipment and supply inventory
Applying established standards when cleaning lab, rooms and equipment
Ordering supplies within established limits
Paying close attention to occupational safety precautions
College Diploma (2 years) or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
Minimum two years of related experience in facility maintenance administration
Experience working in a space hardware laboratory or facility
Good communication skills (oral and written) and ability to make decisions using some independent judgment
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure, including on tasks under tight timelines requiring critical attention
Demonstrated good judgment and initiative
General knowledge of health and safety
Strong accuracy and attention to detail
Knowledge of manufacturing facility needs

Pay Scale Group and Hiring Rate: USW Pay Band 07 - $51,656 with an annual step progression to a maximum of $66,061. Pay scale and job class assignment is subject to determination pursuant to the Job Evaluation/Pay Equity Maintenance Protocol.
