Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Concrete Pump Operator/Helper to join our construction team. This role involves operating concrete pumping equipment and assisting with various aspects of concrete placement on commercial and paving projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, construction processes, and safety protocols to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
Duties
- Operate concrete pump trucks safely and efficiently to deliver concrete to various locations on the job site
- Assist with setup, breakdown, and maintenance of concrete pumping equipment
- Support the crew with tasks such as concrete forming, finishing, and placement
- Operate auxiliary heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, and other machinery as needed
- Ensure proper mixing, pouring, and finishing of concrete according to project specifications
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to all OSHA regulations and company policies during operations
- Perform routine inspections and minor maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal functioning
- Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or related fields is preferred, especially with heavy equipment operation such as loaders, excavators, or concrete finishing tools
- Mechanical knowledge is advantageous for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Familiarity with commercial driving and paving operations is a plus
- Experience in concrete forming and finishing enhances job performance but is not mandatory for helpers willing to learn
- Candidates should have a valid driver’s license suitable for operating heavy machinery if required for the role

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
