Job Summary
We are seeking friendly, energetic, and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Bar and Restaurant Staff. This role involves providing exceptional customer service in a lively dining environment, ensuring guests have a memorable experience. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, food service, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Prior restaurant experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided to ensure success in this dynamic role.
Duties
- Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately using POS system
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas
- Assist with food preparation and presentation as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy hours to serve guests efficiently
- Uphold food industry standards for safety, sanitation, and hospitality
- Serve beverages responsibly while adhering to alcohol service regulations
- Support team members in maintaining a smooth operation during shifts
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for those new to the industry
- Familiarity with POS system
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and attentiveness
