Full-Time Nanny Needed!
A warm family just south of Calgary near Heritage Pointe is seeking a caring, reliable, and experienced nanny to join their family on a long-term, full-time basis.
The family currently has two children, ages 4 years and 1 year, and is expecting another baby. They are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with young children and is comfortable becoming a consistent, trusted part of their family.
Position Details:
- Location: Just south of Calgary, near Heritage Pointe
- Schedule: Monday–Friday from 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
- Hours: 40 hours/week
- Pay: $18–$25/hour, based on experience and qualifications
- Start Date: ASAP
- Position: Full-time, long-term
About the Family:
This is an acreage property, so the nanny should be comfortable with animals being present around the property. The nanny will not be responsible for caring for the animals, but there are various animals on the acreage and they may be visible or nearby throughout the day.
Mom is also in and out of the home throughout the day and will remain involved with the children. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working alongside a parent, communicating openly, and sharing the space while still taking initiative and confidently caring for the children.
Responsibilities:
- Providing attentive, nurturing care for the children
- Engaging the children in age-appropriate play and activities
- Preparing simple meals and snacks for the children
- Supporting daily routines, including naps, meals, and getting ready for the day
- Taking the children outside and enjoying the acreage/property
- Keeping the children's areas and belongings tidy
- Meal prep for the family as requested
- Helping with children's laundry and other household tasks as needed
- Supporting the family as they welcome their new baby
The family is looking for someone who is:
