Small Space Plus is one of the GTA's leading space optimization furniture retailers, specializing in Murphy beds, custom cabinetry, storage solutions, sofa beds, and multifunctional furniture.
We're looking for a full-time team member who wants to play a key role in the day-to-day operation of our showroom.
This is much more than a sales position. We're looking for someone who can help ensure the business runs smoothly while delivering an exceptional customer experience.
What You'll Be Doing
Sales & Customer Service
- Consult with customers and recommend furniture solutions that fit their space and lifestyle.
- Prepare quotations and close sales.
- Follow up with leads and existing customers.
- Handle customer service inquiries professionally from beginning to end.
Showroom Operations
- Open and close the showroom.
- Ensure displays are clean, organized, and always presentation ready.
- Coordinate customer deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain an organized warehouse and receive incoming inventory.
- Assist with moving furniture and showroom displays when required.
- Work with part-time staff to ensure daily tasks are completed.
General Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the showroom and identify areas for improvement.
- Help create a positive shopping experience for every customer.
- Jump in wherever needed to keep the business running efficiently.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who has:
- Previous furniture sales, interior design, retail management, or consultative sales experience.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- The ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Basic computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office.
A valid driver's licence is considered an asset.
