We are currently looking for an experienced, skilled individual to fill the role of ‘Lead Framer - Carpenter’ in our Ottawa location. This person is responsible for diverse types of work related to building in residential construction. This role may also have the responsibility of supervising project on job sites in addition to being the lead framer/carpenter.
Our ideal candidate will fulfill the following education, experience and skills requirements;
- 5+ years experience in residential construction and trades
- Knowledge of of Ontario Building Code
- Certified training in WHMIS and Fall Arrest
- Proficiency in Microsoft office
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Problem solving and troubleshooting expertise
- Capacity to work under pressure
- Professional and charismatic disposition
- Valid Drivers license
- Own tools and vehicle
- Ability to supervise others when necessary
Salary will commensurate with experience.
