Job Overview
We are looking for a residential Leasing Consultant, who is upbeat, organized and on a mission to help prospective residents feel at home from their first tour to move-in day. Your expertise will ensure a pleasant and seamless experience for all parties involved.
The Leasing Consultant is responsible for maximizing occupancy, supporting revenue growth, and delivering an exceptional prospect and resident experience. The role oversees the full leasing cycle from lead generation through application processing, while also managing resident engagement initiatives, marketing efforts, online reputation, and property communications.
Responsibilities
- Manage all incoming rental inquiries with excellent customer service and in a timely manner
- Engage with prospective tenants to explain leasing options, terms, and property features enthusiastically and professionally
- Coordinate and conduct property viewings and follow up with prospects to foster positive relationships and close leases effectively
- Process rental applications from applicant screening to processing lease agreements accurately
- Conduct pre move in and move out inspections
- Monitor upcoming lease expirations
- Complete regular market surveys and stay abreast of trends
- Foster positive resident relationships and satisfaction initiatives
- Assist in managing the shared property inbox
- Monitor online reviews and assist with management of property social media platforms
- Create and promote engaging property content
Requirements
- Previous leasing, property management experience
- Proficiency in using computer software such as MS Office, Yardi or other leasing management systems
- Exceptional phone and email etiquette and ability to handle confidential information
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain leasing options and answer questions confidently
- Comfortable and personable in giving tours of suites and amenities
- Able to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
- Take ownership, follow through and close loops
- Handle the occasional challenging conversation with patience and professionalism
- Work collaboratively with the property management team, accounting team and other departments
- Must clear a criminal background and vulnerable sector police check

Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 5:30 pm
Saturdays - twice a month rotation (with Monday off)
Expected Start date: Immediately
Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
