Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly with a positive attitude and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their breakfast experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring timely and correct delivery
- Handle cash and process payments efficiently while maintaining accurate cash handling records
- Assist with food preparation and serving, ensuring all dishes meet sanitation and food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, tables, and service stations in accordance with sanitation guidelines
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables promptly during busy breakfast hours
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with strong customer service skills
- Familiarity with POS systems, especially Micros POS, for order processing and cashiering
- Excellent time management abilities to handle high-volume service periods smoothly
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling and order calculations accurately
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Previous kitchen or food industry experience is a plus, demonstrating versatility in food preparation and service tasks
- Enthusiastic team player with a hospitality mindset focused on guest satisfaction and upselling opportunities
Pay: $17.60-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
