Heavy Duty Truck and Trailer Mechanic
Duties:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on trucks and trailers, including engine services, inspections, brake adjustments, and tire replacements.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues with trucks and trailers, such as electrical/air problems or hydraulic system malfunctions.
- Repair or replace damaged components of trucks and trailers, including suspension systems, axles, and couplers.
- Weld and fabricate metal parts as needed for trailer repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed on trailers.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Truck and trailer repair techniques and procedures.
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
Pay: $40.00-$60.00 per hour
