We are currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Instrument Technician to join our team for work in the Eckville and Rocky Mountain house area. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to play a vital role in maintaining and optimizing critical instrumentation systems in a dynamic industrial environment.

Position Summary
Maintenance and Construction Instrument Technician for our Eckville & Rocky Mountain House operations. instrumentation systems critical to the facility’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Instrumentation Maintenance: Perform routine and preventative maintenance on instrumentation and control systems.
- Calibration & Testing: Accurately calibrate and test instruments, ensuring compliance with performance standards.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues with instruments and control loops to minimize downtime.
- Installation Support: Provide support for the installation and commissioning of new instrumentation equipment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all maintenance, repairs, and calibrations performed.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other trades and departments to achieve facility objectives.
Qualifications:
- Certification: Journeyman Instrumentation Technician certification or equivalent.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in industrial construction/maintenance, preferably in a facility-based role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in maintaining, troubleshooting, and calibrating instrumentation systems.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with DCS, PLC, and SCADA systems is a strong asset.
- Work Ethic: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality.
- Teamwork: Ability to collaborate with others in a fast-paced industrial setting.
- Physical Ability: Capability to perform hands-on tasks in various facility environments.
- License: Valid driver’s license.
