The Consumer Insights & Loyalty team at Loblaw Companies Ltd. is responsible for stewarding one of Canada’s strongest and most valuable loyalty programs; PC Optimum. The team is charged with continuous innovation, delivering value add insights to the business as well as driving incremental sales and margin through the optimization of one of the top loyalty programs globally. What You'll Do:
Work with the Health & Wellness team to develop concise and actionable business recommendations, including development of business and customer performance KPIs and methodologies for measurement
Support projects with financial and business optimization modeling
Building financial and business forecasts with sensitivity and scenario modeling
Collect and analyze data from multiple sources, such as: in-house (Pharmacy Analytics, PC Optimum, Loblaw Digital), customer research and external market reports (IMS).
Perform detailed analyses to accurately interpret information and draw conclusions/ insights
Data visualizations: Build dashboards & performance reports
Prepare presentation materials for senior management, including senior executives, based on analysis findings
Collaborate closely with data experts to build and extract appropriate and accurate data sets to support analyses
Ensure data accuracy, completeness and quality, swiftly documenting issues with data
What You Bring:
University degree in a business-related discipline
Minimum 1-3 years related work experience in an analytical role (Pharmaceutical/Retail/ CPG industry experience is an asset)
Superb analytical and conceptual thinking skills; to not only manipulate but also derive meaningful interpretations from data
Experience working with Product Development Data or Customer Behavior Data
Ability to synthesize large amount of data into insights
Demonstrated strong business acumen
A team player and self-starter
Strong attention to detail and quality
Career driven and keen to learn and contribute
Advanced knowledge of all Microsoft applications: Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with data manipulation tools is an asset: SQL, R, Python, SAS
