Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Acai Bowl and Smoothie Maker to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about healthy food options, possess excellent customer service skills, and have experience in food preparation and food service. This role involves preparing delicious acai bowls and smoothies while ensuring a welcoming environment for our customers. Attention to food safety, proper handling, and timely service are essential to success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble acai bowls, smoothies, and other menu items according to company standards.
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and card transactions.
- Provide exceptional customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during busy periods.
- Handle food with proper hygiene practices, including food handling and safety procedures.
- Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth operations throughout shifts.
- Assist with serving customers both at the counter and through take-out orders.
Experience
- Previous experience in the food industry, especially in food service or barista roles, is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus.
- Experience with cashiering, serving, and basic math for cash handling is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is required.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude to create a positive customer experience.
