This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced EHS leader to join a highly regulated manufacturing environment and play a key role in driving safety excellence, environmental compliance, and operational risk management across the organization.
The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capability, deep knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation, and hands-on experience within regulated production or laboratory environments. This role is fully onsite Monday to Friday and offers the opportunity to influence company-wide safety culture and long-term operational success.

Senior Manager, EHS Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and continuously improve Environment, Health & Safety policies, programs, and procedures to ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory requirements
Lead initiatives focused on both occupational safety and process safety management
Foster a proactive safety culture through coaching, mentorship, accountability, and continuous improvement initiatives
Partner closely with production, laboratory, engineering, maintenance, and operations teams to conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions
Chair the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) and provide guidance on workplace safety and environmental matters
Coordinate emergency response planning and lead emergency preparedness drills
Monitor and report on EHS KPIs, incident trends, and compliance metrics
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective and preventative actions
Develop and deliver EHS training programs, including onboarding and contractor safety training
Senior Manager, EHS Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field
CRSP or similar professional certification considered a strong asset
Minimum 10 years of EHS experience within a regulated environment
Minimum 4 years of leadership or people management experience
Strong knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety legislation, environmental regulations, and ISO standards
Experience supporting regulated manufacturing, laboratory, or production environments
Proven experience with incident management, industrial hygiene, emergency response planning, and safety systems
Strong understanding of spill response, lockout/tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, and risk mitigation practices
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
