Duties:
Full time position available on our Cattle & Farming operations.
Job Description:
Currently seeking person willing to work between two established cattle and farming operations. Both farms have a cow/calf herd and Purebred cattle operation that are close together. Vehicle will be provided for travel. Excellent opportunity for a variety of work with owners that work well together. Job location about 10 minutes from Claresholm.
Key Responsibilities:
Feed and care for cattle across both operations
Assist with calving and all aspects of cattle handling
Perform general machinery maintenance and minor repairs as needed
Oversee and participate in fencing, seeding, and haying activities
Conduct a variety of general farm labour tasks as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Demonstrated experience working with cattle is essential
Ability to work independently and adapt to flexible schedules
Strong work ethic and commitment to high standards of animal care
Basic knowledge of farm machinery operation and maintenance
Willingness to reside on-farm as part of the compensation package
