Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Housekeeping Room Attendant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a pristine environment that exceeds guest expectations. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to our guests’ satisfaction and overall hotel reputation.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms thoroughly, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures
- Restock linens, toiletries, towels, and other supplies to ensure room readiness
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as hallways, lobbies, and restrooms
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate department
- Follow safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for yourself and guests
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding hygiene standards and confidentiality of guest information
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold high standards of cleanliness
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or hotel housekeeping preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and hospitality industry standards
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality service
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential for maintaining smooth operations
