Job Overview
You will play a key role in identifying growth opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients and partners, and supporting business expansion initiatives. This individual will help generate new opportunities, strengthen strategic relationships, and contribute to organizational growth objectives.
The ideal candidate is proactive, highly organized, and comfortable engaging with decision-makers across multiple industries.
Duties
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through outreach, networking, referrals, and research
- Build and maintain relationships with prospective clients, partners, and key stakeholders
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities
- Manage and maintain sales activity and pipeline tracking systems
- Schedule and participate in discovery meetings and follow-up conversations
- Collaborate with leadership to support business development strategies and initiatives
- Support partnership development and client engagement activities
- Prepare presentations, proposals, and supporting materials as required
- Maintain strong knowledge of company services and offerings
Experience
- 8+ years of progressive experience in business development, sales, partnerships, account management, or a related role
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a high degree of responsibility
- Experience engaging with professionals, leaders, and decision-makers
- Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
- Comfortable using CRM platforms and business productivity tools
- Experience in consulting, leadership development, professional services, learning and development, HR, or related industries is considered an asset
