TF Warren Group is a premier lining, coating and rail maintenance facility located in Brantford, Ontario. We are currently seeking a Customer Service Coordinator to join our plateline team. This is a contract position up to 18 months.
This person must be available to work the day shift from 6:00am-4:00pm, Monday through Thursday.
The ideal candidate must also be comfortable working in an industrial setting - office, shop and yard.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The CSR is responsible for all pricing/estimation of Plateline products along with organizing freight.
- Become a point of contact for all Plateline customers
- Provide pricing and estimates on jobs
- Create work orders for Plateline
- Organize freight and shipping
- Assist with invoicing when needed
- Backup for line operations
- Other duties as assigned
Essential Qualifications:
- Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service.
- Previous experience in the steel industry preferred
- Post-secondary education in relevant field, with strong background in math skills and ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints
- Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a related role
- Understanding of costing methodology
- Proficiency with project management software and MS Office
- Highly organized with strong ability to multi-task and work within tight deadlines
- Must be a clear communicator and a good listener
- Ability to work independently and as part of the team
- Adhere to company Core Values and safety policies
Physical Requirements:
- Fine motor skills to keyboard/type continuously
- Ability to sit and/or stand continuously at workstation
- Safety sensitive environment, dusty industrial environment
- Flexibility to work overtime to meet production levels, as required
- Personal protective equipment required, including 6-inch CSA boots, eyewear, hard hat
