Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy-duty equipment and machinery used in manufacturing and industrial environments. Your expertise will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety, and reliability across our operations. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty vehicles and industrial machinery.
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues.
- Utilize CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software to document work orders, maintenance history, and parts inventory.
- Conduct electrical repairs involving low voltage systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and industrial electrician tasks.
- Execute welding, boiler maintenance, HVAC servicing, and other specialized tasks to support plant operations.
- Analyze equipment performance data to identify root causes of failures and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Collaborate with team members and external contractors to ensure safety standards are met during all maintenance activities.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Heavy Duty Mechanic or in industrial maintenance roles within manufacturing environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately.
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electrical systems (including low voltage), HVAC systems, welding, boilers, and industrial electrical components.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management.
- Excellent analysis skills for troubleshooting complex machinery issues efficiently.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated customer service orientation with a proactive approach to safety and quality standards.

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
